Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was involved in an altercation with a fan at a disco club in Naples last weekend, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen’s future has been in the balance this summer, as there have been a lot of talks about his future.
The 25-year-old Nigerian striker has attracted many top clubs around Europe with his brilliant performances for Napoli, and it is very likely that he will leave the club before the end of the transfer market.
PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal are the frontrunners to get Osimhen’s services, but Napoli’s hefty fee has been the debacle for the deal.
In the meantime, Osimhen has been excluded from Napoli’s squad. He has participated in training sessions with them, but he has not played in any of their pre-season games so far.
In a new development, a video of the Super Eagles star in an altercation with a fan at a disco club emerged over the weekend. A fan was filming Osimhen as he was moving around the club, but the Napoli star was not happy with that, and moved to seize his phone.
The reason for Osimhen’s reaction has not been revealed yet, but Napoli could punish the Super Eagles star for his actions.
Osimhen is no stranger to controversy though. In June, the Nigeria striker went on a rant on social media after seeing a fake report of former Super Eagles coach Finidi George questioning his commitment to the team.
