Official: Young talent Hassan Muhammad joins NK Lokomotiva Zagreb on five-year contract

Croatian club, NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, has signed 18-year-old attacking midfielder Hassan Muhammad to a five-year contract, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

The talented number 10 was scouted from a tournament in Kaduna, where he played for Unity FC before moving to Ojodu FC. Meanwhile, his impressive performances caught the eye of the Croatian club, leading to this significant move.

In a report by Soccernet.ng Managing Editor, Lolade Adewuyi, it can be confirmed that the young footballer has officially signed a contract with the Zagreb-based club, following the footsteps of some Nigerian player.

Muhammad joins the ranks of several Nigerian footballers who have made their mark at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. Notably, players like Ezekiel Henty and Iyayi Atiemwen have played for the Croatian side and used the platform to advance their careers in European football.

NK Lokomotiva Zagreb has a history of developing young talents who later achieve success in more prominent clubs across Europe. Some notable players like Andrej Kramarić, Marcelo Brozović, Marko Pjaca, and a host of others.

Nigeria has a rich history of producing exceptional football talent at a very young age, later making huge significance on the international scene. Players like Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Mikel John Obi and a host of others.

Muhammad’s move to NK Lokomotiva is a good step in his young career, and by following in the footsteps of players like Kramarić, Brozović, and Pjaca, he has the opportunity to develop his skills, gain valuable experience, and eventually make a move to a larger European club.
