Star boys link-up: Chelsea Legend Didier Drogba poses shot with Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Burna Boy

Ivorian football legend Didier Drogba was pictured alongside Nigerian Afrobeats stars Burna boy and Wizkid at a Louis Vuitton event on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Afrobeats stars have continued to make waves across the world with their music, and some of them have gained a lot of recognition.

Their recognition has also transcended into football, with some them participating in some of the biggest sports events in the world. For example, at the last FIFA World Cup, Davido was part of the artistes who sang the theme song.

Then two seasons ago, Tems, Burna Boy, and Rema performed at the NBA All-star games. Burna Boy also took it a notch higher last season, performing in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

In a new development, Ivory Coast and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has shared pictures of himself with Nigerian Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Burna boy at a fashion event in Paris organized by popular fashion brand Louis Vuitton.

Wizkid and Burna Boy are two of the “big three” artistes in Nigeria, with Davido making up the trio. They are also two of the three new-age Nigerian artistes, who have Grammy Awards to their name.

Meanwhile, Drogba has always had a good connection with Nigerians. He has a very good relationship with former Chelsea teammate Mikel Obi, and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.
