Live commentary: 2026 World Cup qualifiers – Benin Republic vs Nigeria

The Cheetahs of Benin Republic aim for their second consecutive victory in their 2026 World Cup campaign when they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

After securing a 1-0 victory against Rwanda to gain four points, they are well-prepared for the clash against the three-time Africa Cup of Nations champions.

The mentality in the Super Eagles camp, meanwhile, reflects a strong desire for victory after settling for draws in their last three qualification games, earning them just three points in the standings.

As they look ahead to a must-win game at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, fans anticipate an exciting showdown with the Super Eagles battling for all three points.
