Cristiano Ronaldo played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and then Juventus

Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest fullback Ola Aina has disclosed the toughest opponent he has faced in his footballing career, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

In a quick-fire question session shared by Nottingham Forest’s social media page, the Nigerian international was asked about the most challenging defender he has encountered, and without hesitation, he named Cristiano Ronaldo.

Aina, who joined Torino in 2018 on loan from Chelsea before making a permanent move in 2019, coincided with Ronaldo’s move to Serie A from Real Madrid to play for Juventus during that period.

It’s evident that the former Chelsea defender would have clashed with the Portuguese star, whom he has identified as his toughest player he ever played againt.

Also, in the video, he was also asked which of the players was the best player he ever played with, he mentioned former Chelsea player,Eden Hazard.

Although both players returned to the Premier League—Ronaldo with Manchester United and Aina with Forest—their paths did not intersect as Ronaldo departed Old Trafford early.

Currently, Aina is relishing his time in the English Premier League, while Ronaldo is enjoying success at Al Hilal.
