Leceister City’s Kelechi Iheanacho teases upcoming music release

Kelechi Iheanacho had 23 match appearances and scored 5 goals in the 2023/24 EFL Championship

Leceister City star Kelechi Iheanacho might soon step into the studio to record a hit track, Soccernet.ng reports.

The football star is currently enjoying a well-deserved break, after a victorious EFL Championship season.

Iheanacho has piqued the interest of fans with his latest social media post where he declared his intention to release music soon.

In his recent post on Instagram, “Senior man Kelz”, as he is popularly called, shared photos of himself relaxing at a scenic spot with the caption “Time to drop gbedu 🎼”.

The Instagram post had his fans and followers expressing their excitement in the comment section, as the Super Eagles player is known for his creative musical side.

Iheanacho’s possible venture into music is a welcome development for fans who urged him to release a song some time ago, when a video of him showcasing his freestyle alongside teammate and friend Wilfred Ndidi surfaced online.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho’s outing with Leceister City at the 2023/24 EFL Championship signifies the end of his tenure with the club, as he has turned down the offer to renew his contract which will be expiring in June.

Premier League club Aston Villa has reportedly expressed its interest in signing the 27-year-old Nigerian striker.
