“Great growth for him” – Italian football agent evaluates Akinsanmiro’s first season with Inter

Akinsanmiro joined Inter Milan from Nigeria Professional Football League club, Remo Stars in January 2023, penning a four-year contract.

Nigeria and Inter Milan midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, has enjoyed a great season with Serie A Champions, Inter Milan despite getting limited playing time, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 19-year-old midfielder joined the 2010 treble winners in the January transfer window of 2023 and penned a four year deal that will see him stay with the Italian Champions until 2027.

Soccernet.ng earlier reported that Akinsanmiro was linked with several top European clubs, but Inter Milan won the lottery by securing the services of the Nigerian international from NPFL side, Remo Stars, a testament to the abundance of talents in the Nigerian League.

The 19-year-old made his Serie A debut for the Nerazzuri in their league victory over Lecce in February, replacing Davide Frattesi in the 76th minute.

His agent, Crescendo Cecere, has revealed that Akinsanmiro is happy with his career at the San Siro and is thrilled with the career path which he chose. Crescendo also praised the development of the versatile midfielder.

“He’s a very talented prospect. He now has experience with the first team. He’s a young talent who certainly has a big future. This was a season of great growth for him. He stayed at Inter so that he could train and work,” the Italian said in quotes revealed by Tutto Mercato Web.

Despite featuring sparingly for Inter’s senior team, Akinsanmiro has had a good season in the Primavera 1 league, scoring six goals and recording two assists in 23 games for the club’s U-19 side.
