Watch: Lukas Hradecky, Frimpong, Boniface, Tella, others groove to Flavour’s “Nwa baby” after Leverkusen’s Bundesliga title victory

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has shared a video of himself and his other Bayer Leverkusen teammates grooving to Flavour’s hit song “Nwa baby” following their Bundesliga title victory, Soccernet.ng reports.

Going into their game against Werder Bremen at Bay Arena on Sunday, Die Werkself needed a victory to secure their status as champions of the German Bundesliga. Eventually, they got the win, and they did it in style. Goals form Boniface, Florian Wirtz, and Granit Xhaka sealed the 5-0 win for Die Werkself.

Bayer Leverkusen’s win was their first title since the club was formed, and the club went all out to celebrate the win. The players were also in high spirits, and they shared many videos of themselves celebrating in the dressing room.

Nigeria’s Boniface was not left out, as he posted a video of himself and his teammates grooving to Flavour’s hit track “Nwa baby”. Surprisingly, even though the song was in Igbo language, most of Boniface’s teammates sang along. The goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky showed some interesting moves, Jeremie Frimpong was involved in the show, and Robert Andrich also joined the group, with a cup of beer in his hand.

The players would surely have the night off to celebrate their achievement, but they still have a lot of business left to do. They play West Ham in London on Thursday, in the second leg of their Europa League clash. Also, they would be looking to keep their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga until the end of the campaign, with five games left.
