Why NFF should open Ladan Bosso’s Flying Eagles role following Peseiro and Ugbade’s

Ladan Bosso led the Flying Eagles of Nigeria to the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, 2023 U-20 World Cup as well as the 2024 African Games

It’s evident that Nigeria’s U-20 teams, under Ladan Bosso’s leadership, have failed to meet expectations, especially when compared to the success of the senior national team in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports.

As a seven-time holder of the U-20 AFCON trophy, the recent bronze medal finish in the 2023 tournament falls short of expectations.

Additionally, the disappointing quarterfinal exit at the hands of South Korea in the World Cup calls attention to the subpar performance of the U-20 teams.

The recent losses to Uganda and Senegal in the African Games, with only a single victory against South Sudan, further add to the concerns surrounding Bosso’s management.

Considering these poor results and performances, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) should consider declaring Ladan Bosso’s role vacant, similar to the actions taken with Nduka Ugbade and Jose Peseiro’s coaching positions.

Ugbade’s exit from the U-17 team came after failing to meet expectations, and a new coach is apparently needed to be considered to achieve better results.

Peseiro on the other hand, despite leading the senior national team to the final of the 2023 AFCON, saw his contract not renewed by the NFF.

However, the failure of the Nigerian Football body not been able to pay his salary from time to time is a good reason to let him go.

Bosso’s tenure has not produced satisfactory results, with only a bronze medal, a quarterfinal exit in the World Cup, and elimination from the African Games.

Appointing a new coach who can inspire and guide these young talents is crucial to align with Nigeria’s footballing aspirations.

By declaring Bosso’s role vacant, the NFF can open opportunities for fresh perspectives and approaches, aiming to revitalize and elevate Nigerian youth football to greater heights.

  • These people are jokers !!!!!!!

Even though this man has been there on several occasions, tell me, when has Ladan Bosso ever won anything in any competition?
How can you take him out when he has 'Ogas at the top, even though he is, in my opinion, one of the worst coaches in Nigeria ?
Everyone knows Ladan Bosso has absolutely NOTHING to offer, but he has to be there because of his powerful contacts at the top and "Federal character".
Not until we jettison our mentality of putting round pegs in square holes, NOTHING is going to happen.
Nigeria is a country where people want pigs to fly without putting in place what is required to make it happen.

Una never see anything.......more disgrace dey come if una no change una ways.

    Yeye dey Smell!!!
