WATCH: Super Eagles legend Obafemi Martins stuns in ₦154.9million outfit

Footballers are some of the highest-paid people, and Obafemi showed his wealth at a recent event 

Super Eagles legend Obafemi Martins wore an outfit worth ₦154.2million at a recent event, Soccernet.ng reports.

Footballers are some of the highest-paid people in the world-especially those in the big leagues. Former Super Eagles striker Martins reached the pinnacle of his career, playing for top clubs like Newcastle United, Inter Milan, Shanghai Shenhua, Rubin Kazan, Levante, VFL Wolfsburg, Birmingham.

The 39-year-old attacker also made 42 appearances for the Super Eagles, registering 18 goals. Martins had a career that spanned twenty years before retiring in 2020.

Martins was recently spotted at an event, where he was interviewed about the price of his outfit. The former Inter Milan revealed that the shirt he wore was ₦1.8million, the trouser he wore was ₦1million, his sneakers was valued at ₦1.2million.

Also, he revealed that his underwear was ₦200,000, his hair maintenance was ₦80,000, while his wristwatch was valued at a whooping ₦150,000,000. He also mentioned that his shades cost ₦700,000.

Martins is one of the most successful players to come out of Nigeria. He won the Serie A, the Copa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, Football League Cup, and Chinese FA Cup. However, he did not achieve any success with the Super Eagles.
