Ademola Lookman made his debut for the Super Eagles in March 2022 and was the Nigerian with the second-most goals in the Serie A last season.
Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, is drawing interest from several Premier League clubs after scoring seven league goals this season, but they face stiff competition from Juventus, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lookman, 26, has enjoyed life since moving to the Serie A from RB Leipzig in 2022, scoring 22 goals in 56 games for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
The Nigerian has been in fine form again this season, scoring seven league goals and creating three in fifteen starts for La Dea.
According to Daily Mail, the one-time Copa Italia winners are bracing themselves for a possible exit of the former RB Leipzig versatile forward.
The report stated that a host of English Premier League teams are monitoring the performances of the player, alongside some clubs from the French Ligue 1.
OGC Nice and Juventus are however the clubs with strong interests at the moment, and with the Bianconeri in the mix, other Premier League clubs might be put off in making a move for the player with 96 Premier League appearances.
Juventus have a great history in the Italian League, winning thirty-six Scudetto titles, and they possess great financial prowess, and that’s an environment a lot of players dream of playing in.
Jose Peseiro has invited Lookman as a part of his final 25-man AFCON squad list set to fight to give Nigeria the fourth continental title.
It will also be the first appearance in a tournament for the England-born Nigeria who opted to play for the Super Eagles in 2022, having represented the Three Lions previously at all youth levels.
