Lauren James gained prominence not just for her impressive performance for Chelsea and England, but for her involvement with Michelle Alozie in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

England and Chelsea midfielder, Lauren James, recently expressed her admiration for Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy in a candid interview, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Lioness star who has gained prominence as one of the top female footballers over the past year, shared her fondness for Burna Boy during the interview.

Lauren, who is a sister to Chelsea’s Reece James has a connection to Nigeria through her involvement in the World Cup, where England faced off against the Super Falcons in the second round.

The talented midfielder could be remembered for her saga with Nigeria’s Michelle Alozie during their Round-16 clash in Australia where stamped on the Houston Dash defender.

During a chat with TV presenter Karen Carney, she was asked which three individuals she would invite for dinner. Without hesitation, she responded with, “You, Kevin Hart, and Burna Boy.”
