The award recognizes his remarkable performance in his debut month at Bayer Leverkusen, where he recently sealed a €20 million transfer deal from Union SG.
At just 22 years old, Boniface has taken the Bundesliga by storm, establishing himself as a formidable striker by amassing an impressive record of four goals and two assists in the current season.
The 2022-23 UEFA Europa League top scorer faced stiff competition from his peers, including RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simmons and SC Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu, but emerged as the standout player for the award.
