Paul Onuachu joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan from Southampton during the summer transfer window
Super Eagles forward, Paul Onuachu, continues to make a significant impact as he played a pivotal role in Trabzonspor’s victory over Pendikspor at home, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian star is adapting swiftly to life in Turkey, displaying his goal-scoring prowess by finding the net for the third time in as many appearances against the visiting team.
After facing challenges in England following his departure from Belgian club KRC Genk, the tall striker is now on course to reach his 20-goal target, proving Turkish manager Fuat Capa’s prediction correct.
In this recent match at Papara Park, Onuachu, as he has done in previous games since joining the Super Lig, made an early impact by opening the scoring for Trabzonspor against Pendikspor.
In the third minute of the game, he headed in a lovely pass from Anastasios Bakasetas, setting the tone for a thrilling three-goal match.
