“Not a bad player”– Ex-Man United star Berbatov praises Osimhen’s ideal player choices

Victor Osimhen has recently been nominated for the 2023 Ballon d’Or and The Best FIFA award following his impressive performance in the 2022-23 season campaign

Former Manchester United player, Dimitar Berbatov, has responded to a video in which Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen crafted his ideal player, Soccernet.ng reports.

In a recent video ahead of the Nigeria versus Sao Tome clash, the Super Eagles star was seen selecting attributes from different football legends to build his perfect player.

Osimhen’s choices included Cristiano Ronaldo’s heading skills, Lionel Messi’s left foot, Neymar Jr’s right foot, and Dimitar Berbatov’s ball control.

Not to forget that the former PAOK FC player, who notched 213 goals in all his 504 football appearances in club football was known for his scoring ability and his ball control.

Osimhen, having referred to him in the video has piqued an attention from the ex-Bayer Leverkusen forward who has acknowledged Osimhen’s selection with praise.

He commented, “@victorosimhen is talking about his ideal player. And that is not a bad player he is building,” in his story on social media.

The former PAOK FC player’s recognition of Osimhen’s choices highlights the Super Eagles forward’s appreciation for the skills of these football legends.

Osimhen, who has recently been nominated for the 2023 Ballon d’Or award and The Best FIFA award, will look to continue his impressive form as Serie A action resumes this weekend.
