The Nigerian youngster has set the Bundesliga alight and is set to be one of the most sought after players in the European circuit
Serie A powerhouse Juventus have entered the race to secure the services of Bayer Leverkusen’s striker, Victor Boniface, Soccernet.ng reports.
Boniface recently made the switch to Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and has been making waves in Germany since his arrival.
Within just four matches after his over 20 million euros move from Union Saint-Gilloise, the 22-year-old striker has notched up an impressive record, claiming two Bundesliga awards.
His tally includes four goals and two assists, earning him both the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month titles for August.
In addition to his club success, Boniface also made his international debut for Nigeria, marking the occasion with a notable assist in a 6-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe during the AFCONQ2023 final round in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The sensational start to his career at the BayArena has put Boniface on the radar of Serie A giants Juventus, who could move for the Nigetian forward in the coming transfer windows.
According to reports from Italy-based media outfit Tuttomercato, Juventus sees Boniface as a crucial target for the club.
However, Juventus will face stiff competition from other European powerhouses in their pursuit of Boniface.
Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly in contention for the former Union Saint-Gilloise ace.
If Juventus succeeds in securing Victor Boniface, they will add him to their attacking lineup, which already features talents like Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.
