Chukwueze’s milan mauled 5-1 by Inter in the Derby della Madonnina

Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench, but couldn’t make a definite impact as Internazionale trashed A.C. Milan at the San Siro.

Samuel Chukwueze came on in the 55th minute against Inter Milan at the Derby della Madonnina, but couldn’t stop his side from getting trashed by their city rivals, Soccernet.ng reports.

Goals from Marcus Thuram, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Fratessi, and Hakan Calhanoglu sealed Inter’s win over Milan in an Emphatic performance.

Mkhitaryan opened the scoring inside five minutes after Marcus Thuram outmuscled Milan’s Thiaw, before crossing the ball into the box, reaching Di Marco at the far post, who in turn, fizzes a cross across the face of the goal for the Armenian to send Inter a goal up.

Thuram scored a goal of his, in the 38th minute. A low cross from Denzel Dumfries sent Thuram out wide, but the French man ran after the ball, a placed a well-cushioned shot into the top-right corner of the goal. A true belter!

Samuel Chukwueze came on in the 55th minute and aided Milan as Rafael Leao pulled one back for them, fifteen minutes into the second half. A through ball from Olivier Giroud sent the Portuguese Leao on goal, as he sent the ball into the back of the goal, in a bid to start a comeback for the Rossoneri.

In what was turning into a man-of-the-match performance, Mkhitaryan restored Inter’s two-goal cushion in style. Lautaro Martinez found Mkhitaryan and the Armenian, again sent the ball into the bottom corner, making it 3-1.

Inter’s three points were guaranteed after Hakan Calhanoglu scored a spot kick with eleven minutes to go. Davide Fratessi added the icing on the cake after the ninety. Mkhitaryan sent Fratessi through on goal and the twenty-three-year-old sparked the wild celebrations for the Nerazzurri, taking his shirt off.

Inter handed Chukwueze’s Milan their first loss of the season, while Inter themselves remain unbeaten in the Serie and are top of the league.
