Soccernet.ng brings you the major highlights as several Nigerian stars took to action for their European clubs on Friday

In the German DFB-Pokal, Anthony Ujah continued his fine early-season form as he netted the opening goal for Eintracht Braunschweig in their clash against Schalke.

Schalke, however, rallied to score thrice to claim a 1-3 away win and advance to the next round of the competition.

In Ligue 1, Terem Moffi provided the assist for Gaëtan Laborde to open the scoring for OGC Nice in their matchday one meeting with Lille.

But French defender Bafodé Diakité bagged a late equaliser for Lille to earn the visitors a share of the spoils.

In the Belgian First Division A, Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke came off the bench to debut for Antwerp in their commanding 6-0 win over Kortrijk.

Alhassan Yusuf and George Ilenikhena also featured as second-half substitutes for the reigning champions.

In the Czech Republic FNL, 19-year-old forward Mohammed Marzuq Yahaya scored once in each half to power Opava to a 2-0 home win over Líšeň at the Stadion v Městských sadech.

Yahaya now has three goals in his first three league games this term.

In the Danish 1. Division, Jubril Adedeji netted the consolation goal for HB Køge in their 1-7 home loss to B 93.

Emmanuel Ogude was among the goals for the visitors, netting to make it 1-3 at the start of the second half.

In Italy, Victor Osimhen returned to the pitch and his scoring groove as he scored the opener for Napoli in their 2-0 friendly win over Apollon Limassol.

Argentine forward Giovanni Simeone aged the second goal for the Serie A champions as they continued their preparations towards defending their Scudetto title next season.

In the Serbian Super Liga, Peter Olayinka was the star of the show as he assisted the opening goal and netted the second in Red Star Belgrade’s excellent 1-4 away win at Mladost Lučani.

It was Olayinka’s first league goal for Red Star Belgrade since joining from Slavia Prague in the summer.
