WATCH: Osimhen scores beautiful scissors-kick goal in Napoli training

The Super Eagles striker just returned to training during the week, but he has started showing his prowess

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored a beautiful scissors kick during one of the pre-season training sessions at Napoli, Soccernet reports.

The 24-year-old Nigerian striker made quite an impression at Napoli last season. He scored 26 goals in the Serie A to help the Partenopeans to win the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years.

After the end-of-season break, Osimhen returned to pre-season action at the club in midweek, and he was treated to a great welcome.

Napoli have some friendlies lined up in the next few weeks as they look to get into their groove in preparation for next season.

Osimhen has been actively involved in their training sessions, and he once again showed his brilliance. The former Lille man met a cross in the box and struck a powerful scissors kick that beat the goalkeeper.

Napoli will begin their Serie A defence on the  19th of August with a game against newly-promoted Frosinone at the Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Naples this summer. However, he could remain at the club as Napoli want to tie him down to a new deal.
