Super Eagles’ Samuel Chukwueze’s potential transfer to AC Milan faces conditions set by La Liga club Villarreal, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian talent has been linked with a move to the Italian giants in recent weeks, expressing his desire to compete alongside Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman in the same league.
According to a report from popular Italian media outlet Gazzette Dello Sport, there have been positive discussions and personal agreements between the player and AC Milan.
However, the Yellow Submarine, will only sanction Chukwueze’s departure from Estadi de la Ceràmica if the demand of at least €25 million plus bonuses is met.
Chukwueze has had a remarkable season under the guidance of Villarreal coach Quique Setién, scoring an impressive 13 goals and providing 11 assists.
His outstanding performances, including a notable brace against Real Madrid, have attracted media attention and sparked interest from top European clubs.
With Chukwueze’s contract set to expire in June 2024, negotiations between the player’s camp and AC Milan are progressing positively.
However, Villarreal President Fernando Roig Alfonso is likely to favour a summer transfer for the Nigerian international to secure a valuable deal before his contract nears its end.
