Victor Osimhen remains of interest to several admirers across Europe, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are just part of those reported to be monitoring his situation at Napoli. The 24-year-old played a vital role in helping Napoli win the Serie A last term, scoring 26 goals in 32 appearances.
While Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has come out to speak on several occasions about the Italian club’s intention to hold onto Osimhen for at least this summer, according to Football London, the West London side are considering a bid that costs at least £100m.
Chelsea, who have already signed Cristopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson this summer, are continuing to be linked with Osimhen, with their new manager Mauricio Pochettino keen to have several options in attack for the new season.
The Club’s top scorer last season with 9 goals, Kai Havertz, has already departed to London rivals Arsenal. Chelsea’s struggles in front of the goal last season contributed to their lowly 12th-place finish in the league, and have identified Osimhen as somebody who can solve their problems in front of the goal.
Chelsea have 0% chance of signing him because:
– they are not in champions league
– they are a much worse team than Napoli
– Napoli doesn’t need to sell him (and won’t for less than 150mln
