Napoli pursue Super Eagles target as replacement for Bayern Munich’s signing Min-Jae

Italian champions Napoli have their eyes on bolstering their defence with Tosin Adarabioyo after bidding farewell to Kim Min-Jae, a pivotal player during their victorious league-title campaign last season, Soccernet.ng reports.

Min-jae’s departure to Bayern Munich left a void that Napoli are eager to fill, and they have identified several potential signings for the crucial central defender position.

Among the names being linked to Napoli is Fulham’s Adarabioyo.

The 25-year-old center-back showcased his talent during the last Premier League season, making 25 appearances and contributing a goal. He played a key role in Fulham’s successful fight to stay in the top flight after being promoted from the Championship the previous year.

Adarabioyo’s contract with Fulham expires next year, and he has shown no interest in an extension. This has drawn interest from other clubs, with Monaco and Tottenham also vying to secure the services of the talented Super Eagles target.

However, Napoli have entered the race to sign the Anglo-Nigerian defender and are seriously considering him as a valuable addition to their squad.

Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Napoli) reports that evaluations are underway on Adarabioyo, indicating Napoli’s strong interest in securing his signature.

If Napoli manages to secure the services of Adarabioyo, it could significantly boost their chances of successfully defending their Scudetto crown in the upcoming season.

Adarabioyo is currently valued at €16 million.
