AC Milan preparing improved bid for Super Eagles forward Chukwueze

Chukwueze has been heavily linked with the Rossoneri this summer, and Villarreal may have to let him go

Former Serie A champions AC Milan are looking to make an improved offer of €25million for Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old Nigerian winger looks set to leave Villarreal after spending six years at the club. Chukwueze’s contract expires at the end of next season, but he does not want to sign an extension.

He is open to a move abroad, despite talks that Real Madrid also have eyes on him. Milan has emerged as his most probable destination recently, as the Rossoneri have started negotiations with the Yellow Submarine.

They initially submitted a bid of €15 million for Chukwueze, but Villarreal rejected it, as they demanded €35million at least.

However, the Rossoneri are not going to back down yet. According to Milan News, the former Italian champions are preparing an improved bid for Chukwueze. The new offer is around €25million, and the club hopes to reach an agreement with Villarreal on the deal.

AC Milan have already concluded on personal terms with Chukwueze, as they plan to offer him €4 million per year. As such, the only thing needed for the transfer is for Villarreal to accept AC Milan’s bid.
