Report: Bayern Munich to end Osimhen pursuit

Osimhen has been heavily linked with a transfer to Bayern Munich, but the Bavarians may end their interest in him

German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich may end their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen because of Napoli’s €150million evaluation.

Soccernet.ng Osimhen has had a fantastic campaign with Napoli this season, scoring 26 goals across all competitions. His brilliance has proved handy in the Partenopeans’ push for the Serie A title.

The former Lille striker has drawn interest from abroad, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, and PSG have all been linked with the free-scoring 24-year.

However, Napoli would not want him to leave on a cheap. They paid €72million for his service in 2020, and they would want to recoup almost double that from a sale.

According to Plettigoal, Napoli will not accept anything less than €150million from a sale. And because of this, Bayern Munich are looking at other options.

The Bavarians are not one of the biggest spenders in Europe. And it may be difficult for them to spend that kind of money on Osimhen. The highest they have paid for a player was €82million for Lucas Hernandez.
