WATCH: Napoli fans celebrate win over Juventus

Napoli are very close to sealing the Serie A title, and the fans are in high spirits

Napoli fans took to the streets to celebrate with Osimhen and his Napoli teammates after their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Juventus on Sunday Soccernet.ng reports.

On his return from injury, Osimhen scored against AC Milan in the quarterfinals of the Champions League last week. But his effort was not enough, as Napoli were knocked out with a 2-1 aggregate scoreline.

However, the team kept their heads high. They traveled to Turin to play former Serie A champions Juventus.

Both teams looked equally matched and the tie was not devoid of drama. Juventus had a goal ruled out for offside to the chagrin of the Turin faithful. Osimhen had a few good chances which he failed to convert.

It looked like the game would eventually drag into a goalless stalemate. However, Giacomo Raspadori had other thoughts. He scored a beautiful volley at the death to seal the win for the Partenopeans.

After the game, Napoli players alongside hundreds of fans took to the streets to celebrate the win. Osimhen shared videos on his social media

The victory over Juventus takes Napoli closer to their first Scudetto victory in 33 years. If they win their next game against Salernitana and Lazio drop points against Inter Milan, they will be confirmed as champions.
