Moffi has been in superb form this season, and he continued with his brilliance against Angers
Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi scored the opening goal for Nice, but his effort was not enough as they were forced to a 1-1 draw at Angers.
Nice were looking to continue their 14-game unbeaten streak when they traveled to the Stade Raymond-Kopa. Super Eagles striker Moffi has been brilliant since he joined the club, and he got the nod to lead the line for the Eagles again.
The Eagles got a dream start, as Moffi scored in the 4th minute of the game to put his side in the driver’s seat.
However, the visitors could not hold on to their lead. Angers equalized through Ibrahima Niane in the 15th minute.
The first half saw chances created on both ends, but they were unable to score again.
Moffi was caged, as he failed to get decent chances to exploit. However, he still managed to squeeze out two shots that went off the target.
The former Lorient was taken off in the 74th minute, but Nice settled for the 1-1 draw, their third consecutive stalemate. Nice are now eighth on the table, while Moffi has 16 goals, three behind Jonathan Davies who has 19.
