Sunday Oliseh: Super Eagles legend reveals he ‘totally loves watching’ Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has netted 23 goals for Luciano Spalletti’s team in 28 games this season

Super Eagles legend, Sunday Oliseh, delivers lyrical praise to Napoli and Super Eagles talisman Victor Osimhen following his outstanding performance against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The former Ajax player could not hold his word after Osimhen scored twice against the German Bundesliga team, as he firmly feels that the former LOSC Lille forward is on the verge of becoming the top goalscorer in the world.

In their two-leg matchups against the Eagles in their UEFA Champions League matchup, the Nigerian forward scored three goals for the Parthenopeans in both contests.

For the first time in the club’s history, Napoli could go to the Champions League quarterfinals thanks to Osimhen’s enormous contribution.

Osimhen also had his name enter the record books as the first Nigerian player to score twice in a Champions League knockout game and the first Napoli player in history to score in both legs of a knockout tie.

Following this, the 48-year-old commented on a post that Osimhen had shared on winning matchday man of the match.

“I totally love watching this ‘superstar’ play!” he wrote.

The former Borussia Dortmund great had also tipped the Nigerian star as the finest striker in the world due to his remarkable play so far this season, having scored 26 goals across all competitions.

“Osimhen is gradually but steadily knocking on the door of being considered the best point striker in the world, in my opinion !! Bravo, Bro…” he added.

The Super Eagles player was recently included in Jose Peseiro’s squad for this month’s match against Guinea-Bissau. He is anticipated to continue to inspire Nigeria at the national level as well.
