Report: Super Eagles and Napoli striker Osimhen is named the most valuable Serie A player

The Super Eagle, Osimhen, has been blazing on all cylinders for Luciano Spalletti’s troops

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, is currently the most valuable player in the Serie A league.

The Super Eagles player’s valuation has increased to €100 million, according to estimates from transfermarkt.

The Nigerian international’s recent goal-scoring form for the Parthenopeans has justified a rise in his market value.

With this, the Nigerian, now the top scorer in the Italian league, becomes the ninth player in the Italian Serie A to surpass the nine-figure mark.

However, numerous European teams are now keen on hiring the 24-year-old to reinforce their squads following his stellar performance.

The former LOSC player has been strongly linked with a transfer to Manchester United, which has also been recommended by his two countrymen, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Odion Ighalo, to consider the Old Trafford team.

But, whichever team Osimhen chooses to commit his future to will need to fork out a minimum of £100 million to sign him.

“Should Osimhen move in the summer, we estimate he will bring in a nine-figure sum, given his contract runs until 2025. Manchester United, Liverpool and PSG are considered the hottest contenders for a transfer,” said Jatin Dietl, transfermarkt’s Regional Manager for Italy.

Despite expressing interest in the Premier League, the Nigerian striker has declined to comment on any transfer rumours. However, he did say he would talk to his agent about his future.
