Osimhen’s goal-scoring streak and his brilliant form this season have piqued the interest of some European clubs vying for his signature.
Manchester United are still interested in securing the signature of Tottenham forward, Harry Kane, despite their interest in Victor Osimhen.
2024 will mark the expiration of the Englishman’s Spurs contract. But this would be a perfect point for him to decide whether to stay at the club or go on to another team to add a trophy to his impressive Premier League goal totals.
But, according to reports from football insider, the Red Devils, who are in dire need of a striker, are still interested in acquiring the former Leicester City player.
Meanwhile, prior rumours revealed that the Manchester Club have also flown their scouts to keep tabs on Osimhen, to see if Napoli’s price demands are truly worth it.
“Manchester United remain interested in a summer deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. The Englishman’s contract runs out in 2024.” reads a quote by Transfer News Live sourced from Football insider.
Despite this, if Osimhen’s deal falls through, the 2022–23 league cup champions won’t be placing all their eggs in one basket and will instead examine other options.
The Parthenopeans, on the other hand, would have a hectic summer attempting to either profit from the sale of the Super Eagles star this summer or retain their key striker at the Diego Maradona Stadium for an extended period of time.
