Man Utd or Chelsea: England Legend tells Osimhen which Premier League club to join

Osimhen has been heavily linked with some top clubs in Europe, but it seems he prefers a transfer to the Premier League

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has advised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea.

Nigeria striker Osimhen has been in red-hot form this season. With 23 goals in all competitions for Napoli, the 24-year-old is charging his club to silverware.

Osimhen has improved on his return of ten and 18 goals in the last two seasons. And it is now almost impossible to rank the best strikers in the world without mentioning the former Lille man.

His displays have attracted interest from several top clubs in Europe like Bayern Munich, PSG, and Real Madrid.

Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked to the Nigerian hitman.

Former Manchester United midfielder Scholes has weighed into the conversation, as he wants his former club to sign Lautato Martinez while Osimhen should move to Chelsea instead

“I think Osimhen is a great player, but he would suit better at Chelsea. Lautaro Martinez on the other hand would be ideal for Ten Hag’s football at Manchester United,” Scholes told BT Sports per Napoli Magazine.

Getting Osimhen’s services from Napoli would not be an easy task, as Napoli would demand a huge fee. Any club that wants him should be willing to pay at least €120million.

  • Paul Scholes should let man UTD be,let the management decides.I personally believe he doesn't love Victor.Only God's knowns what will be next action, and outcome during the transfer window.

  • Daniel needs to leave Scholes alone; he, like everyone else, is entitled to his opinion.

United need a centre forward, and there are several to chose from.
Martinez would be an exceptional choice, as would Osimhen.
Kane is unlikely because of his age, injury concerns but more importantly the Levy issue.
Vlahovic could be the dark horse, but has injury and consistence issues.
Ramos and Sesko are work in progress, and not likely to be what United need now, but are ones for the future.
Thuram and Kolo Maui are both good this season, but not consistent and could prove to be flops.
Kudus is an attacking midfielder and one to challenge Bruno Fernandes

  • mmmm i know no if man utd will get victor because if man utd see a good player they will not go for dat one face but for side we like victor

  • all this people speak nonsense most expecially Paul school am sure if is a man united coach we will be in the bottom by now please leave united alone and let us be we don't need ur opinion some of the united legend just like to say nonsense

  • Utd need a proven goalscorer, there's no question about that. Werghost was signed in January to help bang in the goals. I don't think Utd had had much of goal contribution from him so far this season. Goalscoring has been Utd's weakness this season. Among the top four clubs on the premier league at the moment Utd is the least in terms of goals scored. To be in a very strong position to challenge for the premier league title, Utd need a striker who can score goals on a consistent basis. For me Osimhen has proved himself - both in France and Italy. He is what Utd needs. If Utd had had someone like him this season, we should have been talking of Utd for the title.

  • Any club Victor osimhen sign for next season will robust their attacking department to certainly new level of greatness, I mean the man is a complete striker. he check all requirements of a striker with his physicality, speed, strength and his defensive awareness...the guy will be a huge pick up for any top side in Europe top 5 league..so all them clubs better get to it asap
