Some English teams have made Victor Osimen a priority after his outstanding performance.
Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, is being courted by English Premier League team Chelsea, who are offering cash and one of their players in a swap.
According to rumours, the Blues may field Belgian forward, Romelu Lukaku, to try to undercut Napoli’s demand for their hot-shot attacker.
The Nigerian has been performing well for the Partenopeans throughout the 2022–23 season, tallying 17 goals across all competitions for Luciano Spalletti’s team.
This performance has therefore piqued the interest of two Premier League giants, Manchester United, and Chelsea, who are looking to go head-to-head for his signature.
Meanwhile, Soccernet.ng also reported that German Bundesliga Juggernaut, Bayern Munich, are keen to enter the race to sign the striker.
Napoli has been making all efforts necessary to keep fighting for its attacker. They have even imposed a cost of almost €150 million to deter potential buyers.
Additionally, the president of Napoli has said in the open that the Super Eagles talisman is not for sale.
Despite this, the London club is eager to lure the striker to Stamford Bridge, and according to a report from Tutto Napoli and 90 Minutes, they may be able to line up their loanee, Lukaku, along with a figure for Osimhen.
If this deal is approved, the Italian team may make a significant profit and get a €55 million-rated Belgian player to fill Osimhen’s position provisionally.
