Bayern Munich will rival Chelsea, Manchester United for exciting Super Eagles striker who is ‘not for sale’

The Nigeria international could be at the root of the biggest transfer drama in the summer with some of Europe’s wealthiest clubs gearing up for a record deal

Chelsea and Manchester United will have a huge transfer fight in their hands over Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as a new, major European player enters the race for the striker’s signature.

According to Corriere dello Sport (as per Tutto Napoli), German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have identified Victor Osimhen as an ideal transfer target in the summer.

Bayern allowed prolific Polish goal poacher Robert Lewandowski to join Barcelona last year and brought in Liverpool forward Sadio Mane to take his spot.

While the Senegalese forward has impressed in Munich, the centre-forward role is one Bayern are still looking to fill up with an established goal machine.

Elite strikers do not come better than Victor Osimhen who has been an unstoppable force in Italy this season.

The Super Eagles striker is the Serie A’s top scorer with 16 goals, a career-high, with nearly half of the campaign still to go.

Chelsea and Manchester United are expected to go head-to-head in the coming months to convince Osimhen to move to the English Premier League.

But Napoli owner recently poured cold waters on their transfer ambitions after declaring that the €120 million-valued striker is not for sale at any price.

Bayern Munich, however, appear undaunted by the reports, with the Germans likely to pull all the stop to take Osimhen to the Bundesliga.
