The Little Zebras’ efforts to finish in a strong position in the top-flight division may be suffering as a result of Isaac Success’ less-than-stellar performance in scoring goals for them.
Nigerian forward Isaac Success, was in action for Udinese Calcio in their loss to Juventus.
The Old Lady gave their fans something to cheer for on Saturday when they defeated the visitors 1-0 at the Allianz Stadium.
The Nigerian international, whose contract was recently extended by the Italian team, played 70 minutes for his team but was unable to assist the White and Blacks to clinch a victory or a draw.
In 17 total Serie A match appearances this season, the 27-year-old has only made 9 starts for Andrea Sottil’s team, with 7 of them coming off the bench.
His contributions to the Italian team so far have been patchy, and in his last campaign with The Friulians, he only managed to score two goals and provided three assists.
This goal drought, however, continued for Success when The Little Zebras, who have lost two and drawn three of their last five Serie A games, could not steal a point from the host team as Brazilian international Danilo scored the only goal four minutes from time by tapping in from close range after Federico Chiesa’s cutback.
However, in their bid to get back to winning ways, Isaac’s Udinese will be looking to grab all points when they host Bologna, while Nigerian attacker Isaac will be looking to end his goal drought.
