Watch: “Naija dey here,” – says a foreign supporter as he admires a Nigerian jersey

A foreign sports fan in Qatar expresses his admiration for the Nigerian jersey.

Fans and sports pundits from all over the world have expressed how much they missed the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Recall that the fate of the Super Eagles was dented earlier this year when the Black stars of Ghana played them in Kumasi and then in Abuja.

The team, who was led by Augustine Eguavoen, was held to a goalless draw in Ghana and then a 1-1 draw at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.

A group of Caucasian sports enthusiasts had before questioned the Super Eagles’ presence, who had shown a high love for the green-white-green jersey.

According to Soccernet.ng, a sports lover who has come to watch one of his favorite national teams in the World Cup once more praised the “beautiful” Nigerian jersey.

When a content maker approached to ask him whether he liked the jersey, he said:

“Yeah, it’s a beautiful jersey. I love Nigeria.”

He continued by saying,

“Naija dey hear (here)”

which is a slang term that many Nigerians used to address one another.

However, this elicited responses from Nigerian sports lovers, who expressed their appreciation for the video in their comments.
