The Super Eagles defender just moved to South Africa last year, but he could seal a big move to Sassuolo.
Italian Serie A side, Sassuolo, have made a bid for Orlando Pirates’ and Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah.
According to reports from Isolezwe. Pirates have a deal in the works from the Serie A team, who are presently ranked 15th in the Italian top division.
Ndah has witnessed a meteoric rise in the last five years. The 24-year-old Nigeria international has gone from playing in the doldrums four years ago to being one of the most reputable defenders in South Africa.
The former Remo Stars man shot to prominence last year when he helped Akwa United win the Nigeria Professional Football League – their first ever.
He was then snapped up by South African giants Orlando Pirates in August 2021. Since then, Ndah has grown in leaps and bounds.
Ndah was part of Nigeria’s squad at the last Nations Cup in Cameroon. He has also become an integral part of the Pirates’ setup, making 47 appearances in all competitions.
The former Remo Stars man has impressed during his stay, and he may soon be on his way to Europe.
Sassuolo have struggled to keep goals out this season. They have conceded 22 goals in 15 Serie A games.
Ndah could be a good addition given his aerial prowess and sturdiness. The Super Eagles star is valued at €550,000 as per Transfermarkt.
