“My graduation is next month” – Super Eagles star completes degree programme in UK University

The 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner is enjoying as much success off the pitch as on it

Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has revealed that he has completed a degree programme in Business Management.

Before now, the Nottingham Forest striker’s highest academic qualification was a Diploma in Business Administration and Marketing Management.

Awoniyi has, however, confirmed that he has finished his degree programme at the Buckinghamshire New University, Buckinghamshire, England.

The 131-year-old institution will hold its Graduation Week between September 5 and 9 at Wycombe Swan Theatre in High Wycombe. And Awoniyi is delighted to be one of the graduates.

“Of course, I’m doing other stuff on the sidelines,” Awoniyi told NationSport, as per Sporting Life.

“I got my Diploma in Business and Marketing Management two years ago from the London School of International Business.

“I’m also happy to inform you that I’ve just finished a degree programme in Business Management at Buckinghamshire New University, and my graduation is next month.”

Success off the football field is catching up with success on the pitch for Awoniyi.

Awoniyi ended last season as the most prolific Union Berlin player in Bundesliga history. He was only at the club for less than two years.

And earlier in the summer, Nottingham Forest splashed over €17 million to bring the former Liverpool signing to the Premier League and make him the club’s most expensive player ever.

The Super Eagles star will aim to add more excellent chapters to his impressive career when the EPL season kicks off this weekend.
