The Nigerian midfielder joined Stoke City four years ago, but he has failed to make an impression
English Championship side Stoke City are not interested in keeping Super Eagles midfielder Peter Etebo beyond his contract which expires at the end of June.
Etebo joined the Potters in July 2018, and he made 51 appearances in his first 18 months at the club. However, Stoke City boss Michael O’Neil was left unimpressed with the former Warri Wolves star after he was handed the club’s reins in November 2019.
The Super Eagles star was sent out on various loan deals at Getafe, Galatasaray, and Watford, where he spent last season. However, he failed to make an impression in all of those stints.
It appears that his time at Central England has come to a halt, as Stoke on Trent reports that Etebo is set to leave the club this summer.
The 26-year-old has had a nomadic career, playing for six clubs in the last six years. But there has not been a lot of talk about his next destination.
