Serie A: Osimhen’s Napoli to kick off campaign at Hellas Verona; Udogie and Success handed AC Milan obstacle

The top five European leagues are set to return in August, and preparations for the upcoming season are already in full gear

Nigerian stars in the Serie A now know all their fixtures in the upcoming Serie A season. Osimhen and his Napoli teammates kick off the season with a tricky fixture away at Hellas Verona on the 14th of August.

Elsewhere with Udinese, Destiny Udogie and Isaac Success have a very yough battle in their hands, as they begin their season with a trip to champions AC Milan.

For Ola Aina and his Torino side, they have a reasonably surmountable fixture, as they pay a visit to new boys Monza in their opening day fixture. However, the same can not be said for Kingsley Michael’s Bologna who travel to Lazio in their first game of the season.

Also, Cremonense and their Nigeria-eligible defender Caleb Okoli will have to contend for their first three points of the season against giant-killers Fiorentina.

Then, Super Eagles stars Simy Nwankwo and Joel Obi would trade tackles against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.

All opening fixtures are expected to be played between the 14-16 of August.
