Napoli are adamant on the Super Eagles attacker staying at the club but will consider if a good offer comes in
With several European teams monitoring Victor Osimhen’s situation at Napoli, the Azzurri have lined up a move for Albanian attacker, Armando Broja, according to TuttoNapoli.
The gangly attacker was on loan from Chelsea to Southampton last season and played a pivotal role in Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side.
Far from the finished article, Broja is growing into a deadly striker and has an impressive holdup play. The 20-year-old forward is seen as a young option in case Osimhen jumps ship.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Newcastle have all been linked with the 23-year-old Nigerian but Napoli’s €110m valuation makes possibilities of an exit dire.
Although Osimhen’s stock has been rising, his market value is still some distance short or Napoli’s demands.
He has also committed his future to Naples and said he has a point to prove at the club.
Broja scored 6 goals in 32 league games for the Saints last season but is considered one of the growing sensations of the Premier League.
If Broja is to leave Chelsea, a buy back clause should be involved in the deal…. Because I perceive glimpses of quality and improvement in the young Albanian.
