Nwakaeme could dump Trabzonspor for English football

The Super Eagles star is yet to settle his contract situation at Trabzonspor, and an English side is looking to take advantage

Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme could dump Turkish champions Trabzonspor for a move to English Championship side Hull City.

Nwakaeme’s contract with Trabzonspor is set the expire at the end of June, but the Super Lig champions are yet to make headway in contract negotiations with their 33-year-old hitman.

The former Hapoel Beer Sheva man is demanding more money, but Trabzonspor are unwilling to yield to his demands.

Nwakaeme played an important role in Trabzonspor’s long-awaited Super Lig triumph scoring 13 goals and assisting 10. However, he could soon be on his way out of England, as Harber 7 reports that Hull City are weighing up a move for Nwakaeme.

Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı has held talks with the Super Eagles star in a bid to bring him to England.

If the deal works out, Nwakaeme could be a brilliant addition to the Tigers as they look to push for promotion to the English top flight.
