Manchester United could include attacker in swap deal for Osimhen

The Red Devils face stiff competition for the Super Eagles striker, and they could let one of their superstars leave to land their target

Former Premier League champions Manchester United could include Anthony Martial in a player-plus-money deal to secure the services of Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

Osimhen has been superb for Napoli this season, scoring 17 goals and assisting six in 30 appearances.

The former Lille man has caught the eye of Europe’s big boys and has been the subject of numerous transfer talks this season. The 23-year-old has been linked with Premier League sides Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Manchester United.

According to Football 365, the Red Devils already made a bid for Osimhen, which was rejected. However, the three-time Champions League winners could return with another offer. And this time, they could include Martial in the deal.

The Frenchman failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford and was loaned to Sevilla in the winter transfer window. As per transfermarkt, Martial is currently valued at €28million.

However, it is expected that Napoli would not reduce their €80million asking price for Osimhen even if a player swap is in the mix.
