What Trabzonspor need to do to keep Super Eagles star

The big Nigerian is one of the hottest forwards in Turkey, but he is yet to secure his future because of stalled contract talks

Super Eagles star Anthony Nwakaeme will only sign a contract extension with Turkish Super Lig leaders Trabzonspor if they give him a three-year contract and place him on a ₦1.2billion per year wage.

The 33-year-old has had an explosive season with the Black Sea Storm, scoring eleven goals and assisting ten in 24 appearances, helping Trabzonspor to a healthy 15-point lead at the summit of the Turkish league with eight games left.

However, Nwakaeme could leave the Senol Gunes this summer, ass his contract will expire at the end of the season.

Talks between Nwakaeme and the former Turkish champions have stalled because they are yet to meet his demands.

According to YENICAG, Nwakaeme wants a three-year deal with ₦1.2billion per year wages.

However, if Trabzonspor fails to meet his demands, Nwakaeme has suitors who are ready to swoop in for him.
