Victor Osimhen posted a solid performance on Sunday night when Napoli hosted AC Milan but it didn’t prove enough to strengthen the Neapolitans’ hold at the summit.
Osimhen was however in high spirits on the night, running the channels and chasing everything in a round shape. Up against the central defensive pairing of Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori, the Nigerian was often isolated in the game and worked out a few half opportunities for himself in the game.
Barzagli, a defender who won the Serie A multiple times with Juventus said after the game that Osimhen is one of the finest attackers in the league. Mentioning four of them, he said the Super Eagles striker is up there with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic, English attacker of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham who’s at Roma currently, and Lazio attacker, Ciro Immobile.
“I say Vlahovic, Osimhen and Abraham, as well as the usual Immobile. Rome has it all, it’s perfect for the Giallorossi’s game just as Osimhen is perfect for the Azzurris, ” Barzagli told DAZN.
