Super Eagles striker up against Liverpool, Man City stars for Premier League award

The Premier League have released the list of nominees for November player of the month, and it includes an in-form Nigerian star

Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month of November.

Dennis is on a seven-man list that includes Liverpool star Diogo Jota, Manchester City duo of Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva.

The 24-year-old has had a brilliant start to life in the English top-flight since he joined Watford from Club Brugge in the summer.

Dennis has scored six league goals in 13 appearances this season, with two of the goals coming in the month of November.

The Nigerian has already opened his account in December with a goal against Chelsea on Wednesday. In addition to his goals, the Super Eagles star also has five assists.

Only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has more goal contributions than the Nigerian in the Premier League this season.

Should he win the award, Dennis will become the fifth Nigerian to win the prize.
