The Super Eagles star missed the games against Liberia and Cape Verde after testing positive for coronavirus, but it appears he’s now tested negative.
Brentford have posted pictures of Nigeria’s midfield star Frank Onyeka during their training session on Thursday.
The midfielder tested positive for Covid-19 two weeks ago, just before the international break, which ruled him out of the World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.
However, he has now returned to training ahead of the Bees Premier League clash against Brighton. In the pictures, the former Midtjylland striker looked strong and in perfect game condition.
Onyeka has settled in quickly at Brentford after arriving from Midtjylland on a five-year deal. The 23-year-old will be key for Thomas Frank’s men this weekend as they welcome the Seagulls to the Brentford community stadium on Saturday.
The Bees will hope to continue their unbeaten start to the season, which has seen them win one game and draw the other two.
