England League one side, Charlton Athletic, have announced the signing of Nigeria-eligible Akin Famewo.
The centre-back aged 22 years put pen to paper to seal his second consecutive loan spell at Charlton. Included in the loan contract is an option to buy clause.
The Luton academy product will look to impress in his second loan stint at Charlton Athletic, where he made 22 appearances last season.
The defender showed delight in returning to the Addicks. He becomes the fourth addition to the Charlton Athletic side after Jayden Stockley, Craig Macgillivray and George Dobson.
The 22-year-old has hardly kicked a ball at his parent club, Norwich City. He has only featured for the senior team since joining them in 2018, although he has played more for the youth team.
The young defender was born in England, but he is of Nigerian descent, and he could opt to play for Nigeria as he has never represented England at any level.
