Several Nigerian players impressed for their clubs in the just-concluded season, and as a result, it has brought an increase in their market value
Nigeria and Rangers star- Joe Aribo’s value has increased, according to transfermarkt.com.
In the recent update, Joe Aribo, formerly valued at €3.5m, saw his value increase by 85.7%, which landed him a value of €6.5m (₦3.1b)
Aribo moved from Charlton Athletic to Rangers on a free transfer in July 2019, and in his first season, he was an integral part of Steven Gerrard‘s team, playing 25 of the 27 league games that season.
In the 2020/2021 season, he again proved his mettle in the run-up to their championship triumph. He scored seven goals and made four assists which were pivotal to Rangers’ unbeaten record in the Scottish Premiership.
The 24-year-old midfielder is renowned for his excellent passing ability and technical ability, which has made him cement his position in both club and country.
With the kind of promise that he has shown, he can only get better under the tutelage of his manager, who was an excellent midfielder before he retired.
