The three-time African champions have received a massive boost ahead of Tuesday’s encounter against their arch-rivals
Paderborn defender Jamilu Collins has been passed fit for Nigeria’s clash against Cameroon at the Wiener Neustadt Stadion on Tuesday evening.
The 26-year-old picked up a knock against the same opponent last Friday in the first of their back-to-back friendly games.
Although he played for the entire duration of the encounter, Collins picked up an injury and was a doubt for the second game.
However, Soccernet has gathered that the left-back has passed a late fitness test and would be available for the encounter- although it’s unlikely he starts the game.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will still be without the services of their assistant captain William Troost-Ekong, who also picked up an injury in the first game last Friday.
Ekong has since left the team’s camp in Austria and has been replaced by Ujpest defender Vincent Onovo in the squad.
Nigeria will be seeking revenge when they take on the five-time African champions after losing the first clash 1-0.
Nigeria will beat Cameroun 3-1 or 2-0. Congrats Super Eagles
Lol Cameroon will teach Nigeria another lesson of football.
