The 21-year-old has been a revelation in the French top-flight this season and that has caught the attention of one of the Bundesliga giants
Super Eagles hopeful Terem Moffi is a potential transfer target for Borussia Dortmund ahead of this summer’s window.
Moffi has been one of the stars in the Ligue 1 this season, following his brilliant performances for Lorient. The 21-year-old joined Lorient from Kortjrik last October for eight million euros and has overcome a slow start to be the team’s topman.
The former Riteriai man has scored nine goals in the Ligue 1 since the start of the year to take his tally to 11 in 27 league games.
Moffi’s goals have almost singlehandedly kept Lorient just outside the relegation places, with Les Merlus currently in 17th place, a point outside the final relegation spot.
But the impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, and he could be set for a potential transfer to the German top-flight.
According to BVB Newsblog per Fussball transfers, Die Schwarzgelben could make a move for the 21-year-old this summer.
Moffi could come in as a replacement for Erling Haaland, who is a man in high demand, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City all interested in his services.
Nonetheless, a potential move to the Signal Iduna Park will depend on Lorient’s status in the Ligue 1 at the end of the season.
