The Super Eagles midfielder was on the pitch for the entire duration as Brendan Rodgers men came from behind to beat the champions in their Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium
Wilfred Ndidi delivered a man of the match display as Leicester City beat Liverpool 3-1 to move up to second on the Premier League table.
Although he did not score, Ndidi was busy in the middle of the park, as usual, making a total of 19 recoveries- the most by any player in the league this season.
The 24-year-old won 21 duels, made five successful tackles and three interceptions. Ndidi was also brilliant going forward with two chances created and an assist.
Liverpool started the game on the front foot, but they could not find a breakthrough in the first half. However, their dominance would be rewarded in the second half as Mohamed Salah put them ahead in the 67th minute following a brilliant assist from Roberto Firmino.
But the Reds unravelled 12 minutes later after Thiago Alcantara conceded a freekick close to the edge of the box.
The resulting freekick was swept in brilliantly by James Maddison to draw the home side level. Jamie Vardy then gave the Foxes the lead three minutes later, tapping home into an empty following a mix-up between debutant, Ozan Kabak and goalkeeper, Alisson Becker.
It then got worse for the defending champions as Harvey Barnes made it three in the 85th minute after finishing off a pass from Ndidi.
The win lifts Leicester to second while Liverpool remain fourth- although they may find themselves out of the top four by the end of this game week.
